3 DAYS PHOTO WORKSHOP FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS OF ANY LEVEL IN HOLLAND FULL OF TULIPS AND WINDMILLS

THIS WORKSHOP IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE. PLEASE JOIN US ON A DIFFERENT WORKSHOP…

Holland is the place that you have to experience! We will do that together and during our photo workshop we will photograph everything that Holland is famous for. April timing is an ideal to capture myriads of tulips in blossom and we will certainly do that. Wide angle landscape shots full of colorful fields, but also perfect details of those beautiful flowers. We will also photograph iconic windmills, which are obvious elements of any view in the area. Holland is also know by a specific architecture, historic cities, canals, boats and cheese! We will be capturing all of that and more in Amsterdam which is a modern and historic city, all at the same time with more then 2500 bridges! And of course – a trip in April cannot be completed without a visit to world famous Keukenhof garden with over 800 different types of tulips and plethora of other photogenic flora elements!

Our meeting point and hotel will be in Alkmaar, old city north of Amsterdam with an ideal location to visit the countryside with tulip fields and different windmills, but also close enough to travel to Amsterdam, Keukenhof and other locations in the area of North Holland.

Small group of max 10 participants to ensure great experience for everyone, so we can dedicate enough space and individual instructions for everybody. You will learn new photography techniques and equipment, understand landscape composition and you will see how and why light conditions have such an important role for landscape photography, so you can capture stunning photographs. You will also experience photographing the streets and the city to enjoy the beauty of “street-photography”. All that in relaxed atmosphere of same-minded photo enthusiasts. Highly rated, cozy and very conveniently located hotel in Alkmaar with plenty of restaurants and shops around – and with an easy access to most of the places.

Weather: This is an outdoor photo trip and of course we hope for ideal weather conditions. Timing of the photo trip has been selected to maximize our chances of favorable conditions – and for the most beautiful landscape views with blossoming tulips. However, please be aware that weather can change and cannot be guaranteed. We will be monitoring weather forecast closely and will flexibly reshuffle our agenda to maximize the potential of our trip, but no guarantee can be made for ideal sunrises, sunsets, clouds, blue sky – and mainly – selection of peak time for tulips. Nevertheless, landscape photography is also about learning how to take pictures in a different conditions and we will do my best to teach you how to understand weather in photography and how to plan and shoot in inclement weather if it will occur (which is often very photogenic, by the way ;-)).
