While I was picking ferns that I wanted to use in a way shown in the picture, I met a really old man and during all this time (looking for nice, young and undamaged leaves and picking them took quite some time) he told me about all the things ferns can be used for (he didn’t mention photographic background though ;-)). When I finally collected all the ferns, put it on the ground so that the soil would not be visible, Ema got dressed in the vintage dress (which was too big for her, but it didn’t matter when lying), and we were finally ready to shoot… it started to rain! Nevertheless, we tried for a while, I took pictures, Patrik was covering Ema with a diffuser as an umbrella and Ema was modelling, but after about 5 minutes it was raining so heavily that we had to run into the car. I only made a few shots and if I had the time and a chance to check things over during the shoot on the display, I would certainly adjust her hair, but I am still happy that I could add this picture to my portrait portfolio. So if I am not counting preparation, whole session really last for only 5 minutes 🙂

Pri zbieraní papradia, ktoré som chcela využiť tak, ako ho tu vidíte – teda na zaujímavé fotografické pozadie – sa ku mne v lese pridal jeden naozaj starý pán a počas celej doby (hľadanie pekných, mladých a nepoškodených listov a ich trhanie trvalo dosť dlho) kráčal popri mne a rozprával mi, na čo všetko sa dá papradie použiť (fotografické pozadie však nespomenul ;-)). Keď som však konečne všetko nazbierala, pekne poukladala na zem tak, aby nepresvitala hlina, moja modelka Ema si obliekla tieto “vintage” šaty (ktoré jej boli síce dosť veľké, ale to pri ležaní nevadí) a mohla si ľahnúť… začalo pršať! Chvíľu sme sa ešte snažili, ja fotiť, Patrik cloniť Emu s difuzérom vo funkcii dáždnika a Ema modelkovať, ale po asi 5-tich minútach sa rozpršalo tak silno, že sme museli utekať do auta. Fotiek mám teda naozaj len pár a keby som mala čas a priestor si veci skontrolovať počas fotenia na displeji, určite by som jej trochu lepšie upravila a uložila vlasy, ale aj tak som rada, že tieto fotky do môjho portrétového archívu pribudli. Ak teda nerátam prípravy, samotné fotenie trvalo naozaj len 5 minút 🙂
